^^ Isn't she fabulous?? ^^
- Unfortunately, my most recent reading companion is a big ol' fat GRE book - not so fun to talk about, so I will spare you. Earlier this summer however, I enjoyed some of my favorite lighthearted and saucy reads by Emily Giffen. I find her books such a delightful breeze and very relatable. Although, I've read many of her books before, this summer I finished my last two: Where We Belong and Baby Proof - can't wait til she comes out with another! I always love the situations Giffen puts her characters in and I am never able to predict the ending (no matter how clever I think I am). My favorite is definitely the Something Borrowed and Something Blue series - highly recommend if you need easy and deliciously sassy reads to wind down this summer.
WATCH: The Mindy Project, FOX
- Sooo, if any of you have happened to check out my hulu plus queue lately (1 month free trial via Gilt City, what what!), you will notice that I have watched an absurd amount of The Mindy Project lately. I have always loved Mindy Kaling - from her early days on The Office, her witty sense of humor and hilarious remarks made me a huge fan immediately. Furthermore, I follow Mindy on instagram and twitter which only confirms to me that she is even more hilarious and the most fabulous lady in real life. After deciding that I had enough of GRE studying last week, on whim I started Season 1 of The Mindy Project - I had heard good things but usually am not one to tune into regular sitcoms (I'm more high brow reality tv...). GUYS, I AM HOOKED. I have literally stayed up til 2am every night, laughing out loud to myself as I cuddle up to my laptop in bed (so pathetic, I know). BASICALLY, if you haven't watched her show, do yourself a favor and check it out - is it weird that I want to do a slight career change now and become a fabulous girly ob/gyn??
