London Calling

There was an oh-so-special announcement made this weekend: in celebration of my younger sister graduating from high school this spring, my family will be traveling to London this summer!! Yes, I know, very far away (especially when it's still below freezing here) - but I am beyond excited! As you may know, I am a huge anglophile and adore anything British (Love Actually, Hugh Grant, One Direction...just to name a few).  This will be my family's first trip together across the pond, and I am so looking forward to exploring my favorite international city with them.

About three years ago, I had the pleasure of studying abroad in London for the summer at LSE. Although the course load was a bit more than I intended (ahem, A LOT MORE), the city and sights completely made up for it and allowed for adventurous and delightful study breaks. Since this blog didn't even exist three years ago, I decided to share a few of my photos from that summer - and by a few, I mean far too many - but then again, this blog is mainly a scrapbook of memories/photos/thoughts for me, and this has to be one of my most memorable summers yet.

PS: short hair don't care ^^^ - looking at these pics has me dangerously toying with the idea to chop again - thoughts??

But more importantly, Hugh Grant OR Colin Firth???

I say BOTH.

SO FUN! That sounds like an amazing trip. It definitely makes the summer something even more lovely to look forward to. I hope this trip is much more relaxing and involves ZERO studying.

I vote long hair (but only because I have been painfully growing my hair out forever and I don't need any more temptation to shop mine!).

Colin Firth. Sounds lame but I'm a sucker for nice guys :) Keep those bad boys. Too much headache.

Haha this trip will definitely have NO studying, and thank you for all the advice - Think I'm gonna stick it out with the hair (at least til summer) and yes, I tend to forget that Hugh tends to play the nice guy only in the movies...
